Household Hazardous Waste Collection + Paper Shredding

HELLLLOOOO Porter County!! Let's protect our local environment by properly disposing of our Household Hazardous Waste at our next collection event on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 from 9am-2pm at Portage High School. 

Please enter at Pan Am Boulevard. 

This collection also offers secure shredding of old documents, so don't forget to bring your old paper you'd like to shred!

Examples include cleaning supplies, oils, chemicals, and fertilizers, which can pose significant risks if not handled correctly.

It's important not to dispose of these items in regular trash bins or down drains, as they can contaminate water sources and harm wildlife.

Porter County Residents are welcome to come to our FREE collection events to dispose of your hazardous waste.
