PORTAGE, IN – Car enthusiasts, motorcycle lovers, families, and community supporters are invited to rev up for a great cause at the 11th Annual Windward Pointe Charity Car Show on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Windward Pointe Senior Living, located at 6235 Sterling Creek Road in Portage. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce and the Alzheimer's Association.
The annual event welcomes all makes and models of cars and motorcycles—whether new or old, classic or antique. Vehicle entry is $20, and spectators are admitted free of charge. Drive-ins are also welcome.
Participants and attendees can enjoy an evening filled with music, entertainment, raffle prizes, and community fellowship. Lunch is included for registered vehicle participants, and several special awards will be presented, including People's Choice, Resident's Choice, Chamber's Choice, and Castle's Choice trophies.
"The Windward Pointe Car Show has become a cherished community tradition that brings together automotive enthusiasts, local businesses, residents, and families while supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community," said event organizers. "We're excited to celebrate our 11th year and invite everyone to join us for an afternoon of great vehicles, entertainment, and giving back."
Businesses interested in supporting the event may participate as Car Show Sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities include company recognition in event promotions and press materials, logo placement on event marketing materials, the opportunity to present a sponsored trophy, and optional on-site business presence during the event. Sponsors must register by July 16, 2026.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to register by August 3 by calling Windward Pointe at (219) 764-2900. A rain date has been scheduled for August 13, 2026, if needed due to inclement weather.
