The Recycling & Waste Reduction District and the Art Barn come together for this fun-for-the-family workshop to turn your trash into treasures! Join us for the fun on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at the Art Barn School of Art (695 N 400 E, Valparaiso, IN 46383) from 1-4pm.
Join us to learn how to make beautiful valentines from recycled and upcycled materials! Using various containers, papers, and other materials that might otherwise end up in the landfill, we'll use some holiday magic to transform our trash into sweet valentine treasures, from valentine cards to candy wrapper purses.
Ages 5 and up (with a parent – please register for the total number of people, including children and adults) are welcome. Hot and cold beverages and sweet treats will be available during the workshop as well. All materials and supplies will be provided.
Go to artbarnschool.org to sign up. Be sure to register since spots are limited. It’s $15 for the first person registered in a group and $5 for each additional person in the group.
