Annually the Salvation Army Porter County Corps serves 600+ children and sponsors entire households through our Toy Shop. The Salvation Army served over 3 million people (about the population of Arkansas) nationwide in 2023. Angel signups will go live from October 14th until November 8, 2024, on WWW.SAANGELTREE.ORG. One way your organization can help is by sponsoring an Angel and returning a new unwrapped gift to the Porter County Corps 799 Capitol Rd. HWY 6 Valparaiso, IN 46385. Looking for volunteers to:
- Sort toys from (Monday to Thursday) December 2nd-5th 9AM-12PM and December 9-12th 9AM-12PM.
- Join us December 4th from 4-5PM for a brief training at The Salvation Army Porter County Corps office at 799 Capitol Rd. Valparaiso, IN.
- Assist families Shop for their angels from December 19th 8:30-4PM & December 20 from 8:30AM- 12:00PM with clean up from 12PM-3:00PM. Volunteers will assist families shop for their angels during pre-scheduled appointments.
