Porter County, IN – Have you ever considered how we can enhance the waste reduction and recycling systems in Porter County? Now is your chance to make a difference by applying to serve on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC) through the Recycling + Waste Reduction District of Porter County!
The Citizen’s Advisory Committee is composed of dedicated Porter County citizens who are passionate about the environment and eager to collaborate on impactful changes. Members are appointed annually and meet four to six times a year to devise strategies for improving waste reduction efforts throughout the county.
We are currently accepting applications for the Citizen’s Advisory Committee. The application period is open until January 2nd, 2026. If you are enthusiastic about environmental stewardship and community service, we encourage you to apply.
To apply, go to PorterCountyRecycling.org, under the About Us tab find “Reports + Publications”. Scroll down to the Citizen’s Advisory Committee and click on the Application. Email your finished application to info@portercountyrecycling.org
