Powers Health Medical Group welcomes new physicians

NORTHWEST INDIANA | Powers Health recently welcomed six physicians to the Powers Health Medical Group  team of providers. Specialties these physician providers represent include cardiology, interventional  pulmonology, neurology, orthopedic surgery and pediatrics. 

Cardiologist Moneeb Asghar, DO, is affiliated with Community Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital and Powers  Health Rehabilitation Center. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Advocate Christ Medical  Center, where he also completed his residency. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is accepting new patients. Neurologist Ram Baboo, MD, is affiliated with Community Hospital. He is board certified in neurology. He  completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at University of Utah Medical Center. He completed his  residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and earned his medical degree at University College of  Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. Interventional Pulmonologist Abdulrahman Katabi, MD, is affiliated with Community Hospital, St. Catherine  Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center and Powers Health Rehabilitation Center. He is board certified in pulmonary  and critical care medicine. He completed fellowships at University of Minnesota Hospitals and Marshall  University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. His medical degree is  from Misr University for Science and Technology. Neurologist Daniel Kotfer, MD, is affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center.
