Back by popular demand, Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones will rock the stage at Woodland Park (Oakwood Hall) in Portage, Indiana, August 26, 2025, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm! This terrific concert is part of the 2025 Portage Summer Music Series FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC concerts featuring a variety of great music performed by seasoned bands and solo artists. Woodland Park is located at 2100 Willowcreek Road (just south of US 20). Rockin’ the hits of The Legends of Rock and Roll, Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones band was formed 25 years ago by veteran vocalist Rick Lindy, whose powerful voice has been described as being “as big as Texas!” Super-charged and tremendously popular, this great band performs Classic and Retro-Rock, playing rock and roll hits of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, as well as performing Rock-a-Billy and Original Songs. Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones band has toured Europe and has performed concerts around the USA, mainly in Chicago at top venues. Wherever they appear, Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones put on entertaining, high-energy shows that captivate and wow audiences!

Not to forget! Although donations are not required, all concerts are collection sites for donations to Gabriel’s Horn Homeless Shelter. Concert-goers can donate paper goods, canned goods, non-perishable boxed food items, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bathroom paper, shampoo, conditioner, hygiene items, etc. Cash donations are welcome as well!
A great collaborative effort, the Portage 2025 Summer Concert Series is produced in partnership with Portage LIVE!, a (501) (c)(3) not-for-profit organization; grants from John W. Anderson Foundation and Porter County Community Foundation; facilities provided by City of Portage Parks and Recreation and the Portage Public Library (Porter County Public Library System or PCPLS); and from donations by local residents and Portage Chamber business members!
