Porter County, IN – PATH, Inc. is excited and humbled to announce that it has been awarded the READY4Life (Relationships, Education, Advancement, and Development for Youth for Life) grant, a five-year cooperative agreement with the Administration for Children & Families.

The READY4Life initiative is designed to equip youth with the skills they need to build healthy relationships, strengthen families, and successfully transition into adulthood. With this grant, PATH will expand services for high school students that include healthy marriage and relationship education, parenting skills (when appropriate), financial management, support groups, and career readiness training.

“We are deeply grateful for God’s faithfulness in opening this door for PATH,” said Donna Golob, Executive Director of PATH, Inc. “I truly believe that because we seek His guidance and follow His principles and values regarding relationships, He has allowed us to continue this important work. To be entrusted with the opportunity to teach the importance of healthy marriages and strong families is both humbling and a true blessing.”

Golob also expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts that made this award possible. PATH is thankful for the support of its new evaluation and consulting partner, Magallan Consultancy, as well as the continued partnerships with iTMESA and Abundant Life Consulting.

“This award is a reflection of the dedication of our staff, the commitment of our partners, and the prayers and support of our community,” Golob added. “Together, we are planting seeds of encouragement and hope in the hearts of young people across Northwest Indiana.”

An overview of PATH’s READY4Life programs and selected curricula will be available in the coming months.
