PORTAGE - Portage Township Trustee Brendan Clancy's appeal to provide turkeys for holiday meals was met once again, thanks to Northwest Health-Porter.
On Friday, Nov. 15, Northwest Health Porter donated 80 turkeys to the township.
"At Northwest Health we kick off the holiday season by thanking our employees with the gift of a holiday turkey to enjoy with their families; and a number of our employees generously allow us to donate their turkeys to the community," said James Leonard, D.O., FACEP, Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Health. "It was our pleasure to provide turkeys to support Portage families in need, ensuring they have a delicious holiday meal this year."
“I’m humbled and grateful for all the organizations, businesses, and residents who have come forward to help ensure families enjoy a hearty holiday meal this season,” states Clancy. “I’m confident we will have enough turkeys for all those who are in need.”
