Legacy Sign Group to Host Fifth Annual Sign Manufacturing Day for Local Students

WESTVILLE, IN — 8/25/26 — Legacy Sign Group will host its fifth annual Sign Manufacturing Day on October 2, 2026 at its facility at 7933 W. U.S. Highway 6 in Westville, Indiana, welcoming local high school students for a hands-on look at careers in signage and the skilled trades.
The annual event, organized through the International Sign Association (ISA), gives students an opportunity to step inside a working sign shop and experience the creativity, technology, craftsmanship, and problem-solving that go into the industry. Legacy Sign Group is partnering with the Duneland Chamber of Commerce to bring this experience to students throughout the region.
Students will rotate through interactive stations featuring demonstrations and hands-on activities highlighting career paths such as design, engineering, fabrication, electrical, construction, assembly, logistics, sales, and more. Ivy Tech Community College will also attend with its mobile Learning Lab, providing students with another opportunity to explore hands-on education and career pathways.
"Our goal is to pull back the curtain and show students just how many opportunities exist within the skilled trades,” said Megan Fadely, Marketing Director at Legacy Sign Group. “Whether a student is interested in design, engineering, marketing, technology, building, or working with their hands, there is a place for those skills in the trades. We want students to leave inspired by possibilities they may have never considered before.”
