Back by popular demand, region favorites Harley Hehr and Jim Bulanda team up for a special evening of comedy and song on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at Woodland Park in Portage, Indiana! This terrific concert is part of the 2025 Portage Summer Music Series of FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC concerts continuing through July and August! This year’s excellent concert lineup offers a variety of great music by seasoned bands and solo artists. Concert venues include Portage’s Woodland Park in Oakwood Hall and a beautiful new outdoors location, the Portage Public Library Learning Garden.
Harley Hehr and Jim Bulanda truly are a great entertainment duo! Audiences love their duets, solo songs, and the constant comic banter between. Harley Hehr is an accomplished singer whose first love is comedy, so he decided to combine the two. Additionally, Hehr’s music accomplishments include fabulous vocal impressions of legendary singers—like Louis Armstrong, Willie Nelson, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Johnny Cash, and Cher, to name a few. With his rich singing voice, worldclass vocalist Jim Bulanda can easily step into the shoes of any major Las Vegas entertainer. Performing at top venues coast to coast, including Chicago top spots, Bulanda is a singer most famous and appreciated for his vocal impressions of Dean Martin and of course, the ‘Chairman of the Board,’ Frank Sinatra. Add to this, Bulanda’s stylistic vocal impressions of Tony Bennett, Michael Buble, Neil Diamond, and more, so it’s no wonder why audiences always demand an encore!
