Valparaiso, IN — June 16, 2026 — Carmen Hamerski, a trained clinician specializing in brain health and cognitive wellness, today announced the launch of new neurofeedback services serving Northwest Indiana. The program offers evidence-informed, noninvasive neurofeedback training designed to improve attention, memory, stress resilience, sleep quality, and overall cognitive performance for adults, children and adolescents.
Neurofeedback is a clinician-guided, computer-assisted form of biofeedback that trains the brain to self-regulate by providing real-time feedback on brainwave activity. Under Carmen Hamerski’s clinical oversight, individualized treatment plans combine baseline testing, symptom-driven goal setting, and progressive training sessions to target the specific neural patterns associated with each client’s concerns. The program helps adults, teens, and older adults optimize cognitive function and daily performance.
“People come to neurofeedback because they want lasting, drug-free improvements in focus, mood, and daily functioning,” said Carmen Hamerski. “My approach pairs clinical assessment with tailored neurofeedback protocols so clients build measurable, sustainable gains in cognitive wellness.”
Key features of the program:
- Comprehensive initial assessment including clinical intake, standardized symptom measures, and quantitative brain performance testing.
- Individualized neurofeedback protocols matched to assessment findings and client goals.
- Ongoing progress monitoring with objective metrics and client-reported outcomes.
- Supportive integration of lifestyle recommendations (sleep, nutrition, stress management) to amplify training effects.
- Programs available for attention and executive function challenges, anxiety and stress regulation, sleep disturbances, mild cognitive concerns, and performance optimization.
Who can benefit:
- Adolescents, children and adults experiencing attention difficulties, anxiety, sleep problems, or post-concussive symptoms.
- Individuals seeking nonpharmacologic strategies to improve cognitive functioning and resilience.
- Professionals, students, and athletes aiming to optimize mental performance.
