Chesterton, IN – Heart health looks different for women – and the conversation is changing. Woman-to-Woman: A New Conversation about Heart Health invites women to come together for an engaging evening of dialogue, connection and expert insight focused on living a longer, heart-healthy life.
Perfect for a “ladies’ night out,” the event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at Sand Creek Country Club, 1001 Sand Creek Drive, Chesterton. From 5 to 6 p.m., guests can sign-in and enjoy heavy appetizers while learning about local female-owned businesses. From 6 to 7 p.m., a panel led by four Northwest Health cardiologists – Sabaa Ahmed, D.O., Maya Kommineni, M.D., Stella Kyung, M.D., and Jessica Williams, M.D. – will create a supportive space for honest discussion and practical guidance tailored to women’s unique cardiovascular needs. Topics will include:
- Heart attack in women and their warning signs
- SCAD, a lesser-known heart condition that can affect healthy women
- Atrial fibrillation, a common heart arrhythmia
- Advanced cardiac imaging to detect and monitor heart health
There will be ample time for a question-and-answer session with the panel. Registration for the free event is required by visiting NWHinfo.com/Woman-to-Woman.
Northwest Health will also collect items to support women served by The Caring Place, a non-profit that helps victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. For every item donated, guests will receive one entry into a raffle to win an assortment of exciting prizes. Some of the most needed items at The Caring Place include toiletries, throw blankets, bras and sports bras, and tampons. However, the organization cannot accept sanitary pads.
