Job Description
Samuelson Insurance Agency, an independent agency with offices in Griffith and Portage, is seeking an upbeat, motivated Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is a blend of client service and sales, supporting our Property & Casualty clients while also developing Life & Health opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and service Property & Casualty accounts with professionalism and care
- Build strong client relationships and provide proactive support at renewal and throughout the policy term
- Sell and cross-sell insurance products, including Life & Health where licensed
- Communicate effectively with carriers, clients, and teammates by phone, in-person, and through modern technology tools
- Collaborate with team members at both our Griffith and Portage locations (primary location will be Griffith)
- Adapt to a dynamic, team-focused office environment where roles evolve as the agency grows
Qualifications:
- Indiana Property & Casualty preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior insurance service and/or sales experience preferred
- Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Driven, client-focused, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable using technology tools while also excelling in direct client interaction
