Proper disposal of hazardous waste is crucial to protecting public health and preserving the environment. Hazardous waste often includes materials that are flammable, corrosive, reactive, or toxic. Examples include cleaning supplies, oils, chemicals, and fertilizers, which can pose significant risks if not handled correctly. We don't want these items in our waterways!!

It's important not to dispose of these items in regular trash bins or down drains, as they can contaminate water sources and harm wildlife.

Porter County Residents are welcome to come to our FREE collection events to dispose of your hazardous waste.
