Celebrate the arrival of spring with a guided hike that explores the sights, sounds, and symbolism of the Spring Equinox! As daylight and darkness balance, we’ll hike through the awakening landscape to observe early signs of the season. Join Bella, a Certified Interpretive Guide and Indiana Master Naturalist, as you search for emerging buds, returning birds, and listen for frog calls. This hike offers a peaceful opportunity to reconnect with the natural world, reflect on seasonal change, and welcome spring with a sense of curiosity and wonder. Suitable for all ages and hiking abilities, this program invites participants to slow down, observe, and celebrate the beauty of a new season. Difficulty: Easy to moderate; suitable for most ages. The trail at Meadowbrook varies from gravel paths to moderate trails with stairs and bare roots. We will meet at the Meadowbrook Pavilion. What to Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, water, and curiosity. Please note that our restrooms are closed for the season. This event will take place at 9 am Central Time.
