The Ivy Tech Foundation presents the 15th Anniversary of the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fundraising Event on Thursday, October 6 at the Avalon Manor, 3550 East U.S. Highway 30 in Merrillville, Indiana. The Reception to meet the scholarship recipients will start at 6:00 PM, and Dinner will be served at 6:45 PM, followed by the Program. Proceeds benefit the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund for Ivy Tech Northwest students. The highlight of the evening will be the awarding of $42,000 in Chancellor’s Scholarships to 28 Ivy Tech students, seven scholarships for each of the campuses in East Chicago, Gary, Valparaiso and Michigan City. In addition, the Ivy Tech Community College-Northwest will honor their Benefactor of the Year, Centier Bank, Michael Schrage. Tickets are $75 per person, of which $40 is tax deductible.
