All proceeds from the theater debut will benefit three local charities: Portage Township YMCA\, Portage Firefighters Local 3151 and Hoosier Burn Camp.\n\nYou are invited to attend this ticketed event and will receive "star treatment" from the moment you arrive. This event features live entertainment\, open bar\, heavy hors d'oeuvres\, stellar films\, and movie theater concessions.\n\nThe Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment and reception will take place from 6pm-8:30pm with movies available in several theaters for the duration of the event\; all concluding at 9:30 p.m.\n\nAttire for the event is Gatsby theme or cocktail attire.\n\n\nInformation about your charities:\n\nY MCA of Portage Township\n\nWe strengthen community through programs\, services and initiatives that enable kids and teens to realize their potential\, offer ways for families to have fun together\, empower people to be healthier in spirit\, mind and body\, and help foster a nationwide service ethic. Every day at our local Y\, we strive to support the spiritual\, mental and physical needs of individuals and families living in Portage Township\, part of Union Township and eastern parts of Lake County.\n\n \n\nPortage Firefighters Local 3151\n\nThe Portage Firefighters Local 3151are a labor union representing 62 firefighters protecting the City of Portage Indiana.\n\n \n\nHoosier Burn Camp\n\nHoosier Burn Camp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing life-changing experiences for young people who have suffered the physical and emotional trauma associated with a severe burn injury.\n\nFirst conceived by the office of the Indiana State Fire Marshal and Riley Hospital for Children\, Hoosier Burn Camp was founded in 1997 to extend physical and mental rehabilitation opportunities to severe burn survivors in Indiana ages 8 to 18.\n\nOur programs were developed to combine the fun of summer camp with opportunities to build life skills that kids need to fully recover from the trauma of their burn injuries. Since 1997\, we have grown to provide 12-15 programs throughout the year to burn survivors from infancy through young adulthood. Many of these programs support the entire family as well.
