DESCRIPTION:Children come join an Astronomy Professor from Valparaiso University and a few of his student aides on July 17th at Haven Hallow Park. We will use several small telescopes to look at interesting astronomical objects including double stars\, nebulae\, and maybe even a planet or two. We will also discuss some interesting facts about each object\, answer questions\, and talk about the history of humanity's study of the universe around us. The cost for each child is $5\, and all children must be registered before the event. To register please come to the Parks Department office at Haven Hallow Park\, and remember space is limited.
